The Gamma Epsilon Graduate Chapter has been pretty busy this Spring. Participation ranged from SIA
' s National Convention weekend in
Florida, SIA
Supporting the Arts, SIA
' s Blue Ribbon Campaign, SIA
' s National Day of Community Service, Inducting and supporting the first Graduate Line in SIA History, to preparing for the summer and fall events. We are also preparing to welcome some new SIA
babies as three of our members are getting ready to become MOTHERS once again!
As you can see from the other sections on our website we have been busy upholding our goals is part of all of us at GE! SIA has molded us to love this organization, it’s goals, it’s hopes and future endeavours, we hope to continue to serve our communities and our organization to the best of our abilities. Participating and collaborating with our organization as well as outside organizations has made this Spring semester an amazing and fulfilling one. We hope to see many of you at our future events which will include participating in the March of Dimes - March for Babies (formerly WalkAmerica) at Eisenhower Park on on Sunday, April 27th with our Family Picnic to follow
the MS Walk at
Belmont
State Park , on May 4th and the Lupus walk on June 6th at NYIT in
Long Island.
We have proud parents: Flavia Salcedo and Gina L. Johnson became mommies and Yari Acosta - DeLeón will be having her new addition on August 7, 2008.
Accomplishments and Promotions:
Desiree L. Castillo will be working at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in NYC in August.
Georgiana Grigore has started a new position at a new firm.
Diane Lopez has been promoted to Assistant Vice President for CapitalOne Bank for a new branch opening in NYC.
Yari DeLeón has been appointed as Public Relations Director of Mezcla Media Marketing, Inc. Cynthia Baux has expanded her business to an ebay online store: http://stores.ebay.com/RCGTRADING
