Springing Into Action 2007 On May 5th, GE walked and raised $1611.00 for the MS cause. Sisters joined forces to create a team and they were able to raise money for a cause given to us by our founders.
The National Multiple Sclerosis Society is dedicated to ending the devastating effects of MS. They simultaneously fund research for a cure while also helping people who currently live with MS lead more fulfilling lives. I believe in the work they do, and I invite you to see for yourself all the good they've done for the MS community. More than 400,000 Americans live with MS, and your support can and will make changes in their lives.
![]() Also, on 4/29 sisters (along with some young relatives) encouraged walkers and hand out refreshments at teh Walkamerica: March of Dimes event in Eisenhower park in Uniondale, Long Island.

The American Cancer Society works hard every day to prevent cancer and save lives through groundbreaking research, public education, and better laws that protect people from cancer – and they help people who are diagnosed with cancer right here in our own community. The ACS has already helped save millions of lives from cancer.
